DON JUAN

Who were you just speaking to? He looked a little like the good Gusman of Donna Elvira.

SGANARELLE

More than a little, I’d say.

DON JUAN

SGANARELLE

DON JUAN

How long has he been in this city?

SGANARELLE

Since last night.

DON JUAN

And what business brings him here?

SGANARELLE

I believe you can easily imagine what’s bothering him.

SGANARELLE

E que negócios traz ele aqui?

SGANARELLE

Eu acredito que você pode facilmente imaginar o que está incomodando ele.

DON JUAN

Nossa partida, sem dúvida?

SGANARELLE

O homem bom é totalmente mortificado por isso e deseja conhecer a causa.

DON JUAN

E o que você disse a ele?

SGANARELLE

Que você não tinha dito nada sobre isso.

DON JUAN

Mas me diga, quais são seus pensamentos sobre o assunto? O que você acha desse assunto?

SGANARELLE

Para mim, acredito, sem prejuízo de si mesmo, Senhor, que você está buscando algum novo amor.

DON JUAN

Você acredita assim?

SGANARELLE

E você não está errado, não! E eu confesso a você que outro objeto expulsou Elvira dos meus pensamentos.

SGANARELLE

Por Deus! Conheço o meu Don Juan como as costas da minha mão, e que você tem o coração de um predador, saltando de refeição em refeição, nunca se demorando por muito tempo.

DON JUAN

E você não acha que estou certo em usar meu coração dessa maneira?

SGANARELLE
